Cases in Ontario, Canada seem to be going down. On Wednesday alone only 76 cases of coronavirus were reported. This brings the total number of cases in the province to 38,986.
Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott commented on the report from Wednesday that shows the lowest increase for a total 24 hour period since late March.
The fatality number for this province has only increased to 2,769 since only one death was reported recently. This means coronavirus numbers in the region are headed in the right direction.
Meanwhile, the number of people who have healed from the lethal disease stands at 34,741 in the area, previously the disease accounted for at least 89 percent of cases.
The report from Wednesday shows that most of the new cases come from Windsor-Essex. The area accounts for at least 22 new cases, In Ottawa, there have been 13 new cases, in Niagara Region, there are 13 cases and in Chatham-Kent, there are at least 10 new cases.
Across different units of public health across Ontario, there are either 0 or less than 10 new cases of coronavirus.

On Wednesday morning, the government of Ontario also made an announcement saying Toronto and Peel Region have moved in the green light for stage 3 starting from Friday, 31st July at 12:01 a.m. In the next stage, these two regions will join with 31 public health units.
For the time being, however, Windson-Essex will remain in Stage 2.
As far as testing is concerned Ontario has carried out at least 2,114,263 tests for the coronavirus. Just from the previous day, the numbers of tests have been 27,308. Currently, there have been at least 18,268 who are waiting for their results and are thus under investigation.
For coronavirus, Ontario has hospitalized about 91 people this number however has also gone down by 5 after the previous day. 28 patients have been placed in intensive care units and about 17 people in ICUs have been put on ventilators. These numbers however are also going down as people begin to recover.
The latest reported figures are of course only valid till 2 p.m, for Ottawa, Toronto, and Middlesex-London units of public health it’s Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Ministry of Long-term Care says so far they have recorded around 1,844 deaths among patients and residents reported from life-long care facilities across the entirety of Ontario. The number remains unchanged from the last day while still there are 15 currently active outbreaks. In life-long care facilities, about 8 health care workers have died from the lethal virus.

The ministry reported also that there are as of now at least 10 cases that are still active in life-long care facility residents and 36 cases that are active among the staff that works there.
These cases of coronavirus suggest that things may be improving in the area. Only time will tell if the cases will remain steady or will increase in the coming days. As of now, things might improve for the rest of the country if social distancing is properly observed and preventative measures are respected by residents.
