Ron Jeremy is currently facing a trial on 20 sexual assault charges and multiple groping charges by different women. These women include 15 years old minor too. If proven guilty, the famous porn star may end up in prison for up to 250 years.
Jeremy who is now 67 has been accused by more than 20 women and was arrested back in June. He is denying all of these charges but if all of this is proven, he will spend a huge term behind the bars. The charges on him include six sexual battery charges, five charges of forced rapes, and three charges of forced oral sex.
Other charges on this famous porn star are; two charges of forceful penetration of a foreign article, one charge of sodomy and one charge of assault with an intention to rape, one charge of inserting a foreign article inside an unconscious victim.

The latest among these charges is a sexual assault which Jeremy did to a 21 years old girl on New Year’s Day. Although he is not guilty of any of these allegations the total number of charges on him is 28 including sexual violence on women.
The District Attorney’s office at Los Angeles County is making amendments to the complaints against the famous porn star to see if there are more charges present. In addition to this, Paul Thompson who is the Deputy District Attorney has told that the six more women have approached the prosecutors in this case and confirming that Jeremy has assaulted/raped/sexually abused them too.
The original complaint on Jeremy was reported in June which charged him with forced rape, oral sex, and sexual battery charges. Investigators of this case believe that Jeremy was using his celebrity card to access women and taking advantage of them even when they were sleeping, unconscious or drunk.
These charges on Jeremy are not new and they started back in 2017. While the majority of these cases can be traced between 2014 to 2017, the first time they are open to the public is in June 2020.
U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that every one in five women in the USA has experienced rape or assault at least once in their life. Every one in three girls becomes a victim of rape when they are between 11 years and 17 years of age.
The long-term effects of assault and rape are destructive and they may also result in physical as well as mental health problems. for this reason, CDC explains that sexual violence can be avoided by changing the common social norms and empowering women.

This act of creating a safe and protective environment for women also includes to provide them legal assistance and support in case of any undesired incident. Especially when the rapist or the assaulter is a high profile person, a celebrity, or even a federal official, the victim should receive encouragement, support, and legal help that they deserve.
In light of this information, this recent case of charges against this famous porn star will be proved or discarded soon. Either he will spend a sentence which may last up to 250 years or maybe acquitted, based on the evidence and legal proceedings.
