The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has sent warning letters to five companies selling illegal dietary supplements which are worst for human health, on Tuesday. At the start of 2020, the FDA has urged healthcare professionals to warn patients about using shady dietary supplements especially those which have cesium chloride inside their formulation. In 2018, the FDA warned the general public about consuming medicines and supplements containing cesium chloride and how it invites chronic diseases to its users. However, this warning is limited to illegal dietary supplements containing cesium salts only. Dietary supplements that provide complete information on its ingredients and are manufactured by a reputed company have no as such health concerns.
Not many people know that cesium chloride is a part of cancer therapy due to its anti-tumor properties. However, consuming cesium salts on daily basis, inside these illegal dietary supplements is not recommended by health experts.
Using cesium salt medicines to self-treat a tumor or cancer is highly discouraged by the FDA. No person should try using this salt or any product containing this salt on its own, without consulting a doctor.
Cesium is a highly radioactive element that is not approved for human consumption unless supervised by a certified doctor. FDA urges people not to use cesium-based products for their potential role in causing toxicity and abrupt death.
The only use of cesium is in cancer patients where non-radioactive type cesium is used in a high pH therapy for killing cancer cells. still, there is insufficient evidence on using cesium for cancer treatment.
The oral consumption of cesium salt is extremely dangerous as it may cause hypotension, irregular heartbeat, cardiac arrest, and death in its user. People who take cesium based dietary supplements often report nausea, appetite loss, weight loss, and diarrhea.
The dangers of cesium salt are exceptionally high for older adults, heart patients, pregnant women, and children.
