According to the statistics, the number of cases of depression is rising rapidly every year. The largest number of people who get a diagnosis of depression is typically from the young adult age group which includes people between the ages of 16-24.

In addition, college students, in particular, are at a very high risk of developing mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and others. As a result, the suicide rates among adolescents and young adults are on the rise as well.

This is one of the biggest concerns regarding health at the moment globally. In the past decade, suicide among young adults has 87% higher than it was before. Therefore, there is a need to combat the issue with effective initiatives and measures.
