The relation of CBD and sexual healing is not new. Before the cannabis usage was declared illegal, it was a common thing to uncover sexual benefits and treat sexual health problems. recent research study highlights the effects of cannabis on sexual life and health. A survey of 5,398 U.S residents was completed which told that nearly 502 (9.3%) of them used cannabis to make their sex life better.

Out of these confirmed cannabis users, 72% of men and 76% of women reported having more intense orgasms and 66% of men and women reported reduces sex-related stress. Men reported 31% increase in erection duration before getting an orgasm. While women reported 33% increase in getting orgasm.

87% of these people used cannabis as a couple for improving their sex life and 57% confirmed more satisfactory sex. The result also reported that 69% of people showed interest to continue using CBD for making their sex life better.

These findings might be new for someone who always thought cannabis to be an entertaining herb or a pain-relieving herb.

The landmark “Sex in America: A Definitive Survey” which was published in 1994 calculated that 20% women are a victim of painful sex and it increases to 33% after they reach to their menopause. They don’t really like to talk about it despite suffering from pain, being uncomfortable and not able to enjoy sex.

Kiana Reeves is the director of Communication and Community Education at Foria. In one of her interviews, she said that the human body stops working effectively whenever it is under stress, and most commonly, libido is affected. She further added that cannabis and hemp can work on human CNS and reduce stress and anxiety, which can improve sex life.  

It suggests that anyone who is suffering from stress and anxiety, especially sex-related stress, using cannabis or a cannabis product could be helpful. It would ease the stress, improve the sexual experience, reduce pain and makes a person feel better altogether.
